B.C. Mainland. Dovehill House is a place for the mature person,

individual lifestyle within the advantages of a community in a modern
retirement house. Built with every convenience and advantage of modern technology, Dovehill conveys the gracefulness of a stately home. The symmetry and proportions are outstanding, reminiscent of the grandeur of yesteryear. The grounds are perfect for a leisurely stroll with friends, or just relaxing outdoors in the temperate climate of Vancouver Island An open courtyard separates the two wings of Dovehill House where residents can enjoy the garden, the fountain and a quiet secure space. Developer and director John Dove collaborated in the building of Dovehill House, a lovely home set on three forested acres with spectacular views. The facade foretells the exceptional features to be found inside: a fine functioning plan and spacious livability - a home to share with friends. Dovehill House (formerly Ashley Manor) has been established in Chemainus since 1994. Our director, Marguerite Moskalyk, has had an extensive career working with people (for many years with British Airways), her main focus being to ensure that her passengers enjoyed themselves. As a volunteer with the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society, including five years as President, her vision was to create a residence for seniors where they could be comfortable, secure and have a quality of life full of enjoyment and fun. |
