HAIRDRESSER
On Thursday afternoons Barbara from The Hair Shoppe visits to offer shampoos and sets, cuts, and perms. Manicures and facials can also be arranged.
REFLEXOLOGY
On Tuesday afternoons, there are facilities for a foot massage which cost $10.00. The first session is free, compliments of us.
TAXIS
Local taxis are always available for other appointments.
MAIL
Arrives every day. We have stamps available and can arrange for your mail to be delivered to the Post Office.
DOWNTOWN CHEMAINUS
which is famous for its picturesque murals, also has dentists, lawyers, fax and secretarial services, a library, churches of different faiths, and many fine restaurants. It also has a small hospital. The Seniors' Centre boasts a membership of over 500 with movies, bridge, bingo and various outings.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Fly fishing on the Cowichan River, ferry ride to Thetis Island, picnic at the local beach, golf course, and a horse and buggy ride to see the famous murals, and many more activities can be found.  The Chemainus Theatre offers several fine performances each year. Tickets can include the buffet lunch or dinner
